Georgia the Cradle of Viticulture - Seoul Holds Georgian Wine Exhibition

The exhibition "Georgia - the Cradle of Viticulture" will be held in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, from March 3 to April 1, 2021.

The exposition will present photos of unique exhibits preserved in the National Museum of Georgia, samples of wine vessels discovered during archeological excavations in Georgia, photo archive of the National Museum, etc. This will enable the visitor to be introduced with 8,000 years old continuous winemaking tradition of Georgia

The event dedicated to the unique history and culture of Georgian wine is organized and supported by the Korean fund, National Wine Agency, and National Museum of Georgia. 

South Korea is one of the largest importing countries of wine within the frameworks of the world and a priority market for Georgian wine.

In 2020, Georgia exported up to 90,000 bottles of Georgian wine to South Korea, which is 353% more than the same data of 2019.
