Fête des Vignerons to Start in Switzerland
The town in Switzerland, Vevey is hosting a wine festival, in which Georgian wine will be presented for the first time.
The founder of Ruispiri Biodynamic Vineyard, Giorgi Aladashvili will be the part of the festival with Georgian wine corner.
"Today is the first day of the festival, Georgian preparations are already in an active phase. Today, we are waiting for numerous guests. Guests will have an opportunity, to taste Georgian national dishes, for instance, Khachapuri, Mtsvadi, Khinkali and, simultaneously, make Georgian bread by themselves."
"Apart from gastronomic performances, Georgian polyphony music will be played for guests. For today, 40 guests are already registered, but the wisher is much more amount." notes Aladashvili.
As Aladashvili states, for the popularization of Georgian corner, the page was created on social network, called "Friends of Giorgi". Becoming a member implies taking part in the masterclass of Georgian cuisine.
For the next three weeks, guests of Georgian corner will taste wines, Rkatsiteli, Qisi and Saperavi produced by Ruispiri Biodynamic Vineyard. For comparison, different types of Switzerland wines will also be presented.
Georgian corner will function till 12th of August.
