Exposition of Niko Pirosmani Renews at National Gallery Tomorrow

From November 2, 2021, Niko Pirosmanashvili (Pirosmani) renewed exhibition will be opened in one of the halls of GNM, Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery.

Twenty works selected from the collection of Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts present all genres of Niko Pirosmanashvili’s art. The most popular works – Giraffe, Fisherman, Actress Margarita are staying on display. Some of the works were not presented in the previous exposition.

The visitors also can see a book by Ilia Zdanevich (lIliazd) about Pirosmanashvili (1972), for which Pablo Picasso drew from his imagination Pirosmanashvili's graphical portrait. The exhibition is accompanied by educational and informational materials.
