Exhibition Tbilisi History Museum Presents Exhibition - FÜR ALEKO

The Georian National Museum Tbilisi History Museum presents the exhibition „FÜR ALEKO“ (for Aleko).
 
The exposition is dedicated to the memory of Aleksandre-Aleko Adamia - the professor at Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, the famous Georgian painter who has been working in Germany.
The exhibition brings together artists who have been participating in the Dresden International Plenary and Exhibition "Culture. Synchrony" since 2013, which is founded in Germany by the artist at the last stage of his life, and which even after his death collaborates with Apolon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
 
The main idea of the Dresden Planner and the exhibition is a cultural-educational dialogue between two countries. As the decision made by the artist during his lifetime, the project is led by visiting professors of Tbilisi State Academy of Arts - Mariam Shakharashvili and Beka Sakvarelidze. In the framework of the project, 32 scholarship holders were given the opportunity to get acquainted with European culture.
 
Participants of the project are: Mariam Shakharashvili, Beka Sakvarelidze, Julia Sanikidze, Giorgi Shalikashvili, Nanuka Gogolashvili, Shako Khrikuli, Veriko Iobashvili, Luka Gugushvli, Kartlos Bikashvili, Medea Kedelashvili, Ia Kankia, Luka Jankhoteli, Natalia Lashkhi, Gaioz Dzincharadze, Ana Simongulovi, Zurab Zurabishvili, Liza Kvantaliani, Davit Gotsiridze, Mariam Ichkiti, Nika Khabelashvili, Nino Kharsamauli, Shota Tetradze, Lika Rusadze, Elene Obgiadze.
 
All 25 artists presented at the exhibition are united by a special relation towards Aleko Adamia. The most important is how the exhibition thematically shows the connection between the past and the future and the reflections of this links on the present.
 
The exhibition in Tbilisi History Museum opened on October 12 and will be available until October 20th.
