Batumi International Art House Film Festival to be Opened

Because of the contribution towards cinematography, the Georgian actor Manuchar Shervashidze, French actor Denis Lavant and well-known American scenarist and film director Paul Schrader were awarded on the ceremony.

Fictional, documental and short competition and non-competition films will be screened in the open air.

The contest will present films from nearly 30 countries. International Jury will reveal the chosen films.

During the film festival, foreign film directors will hold master classes.

BIAFF was founded in 2006.
