Art-Gen Festival 2024: Celebrating Georgian Culture with Music, Crafts, and Tradition
The Tbilisi tour of the Art-Gen 2024 festival will open on July 19 at the Ethnographic Museum of Tbilisi with a concert by the band "Demonstrations." As a traditional supporter of the festival, "Natakhtari" beer will be served to guests, enhancing the enjoyment of their time together. The festival's organizational group recently held a meeting in Saguramo, at the "Saguramo Stage" yard, to discuss the upcoming festival program.
"Ludi Natakhtari" continues to support Georgian culture. Art-gen is a unique festival that plays a vital role in promoting both traditional and modern Georgian culture. I won't elaborate much on that, but I want to thank the organizers and participants. I'm delighted that the long-term friendship between Art-gen and Natakhtari beer continues. This year, we will once again serve real Georgian beer to the guests of this authentic Georgian festival. It's time to gather at the 21st Art-gen!" says Katie Zhvania, public relations manager of "Efe Georgia."
This year, the Art-gen festival promises several novelties and will host musicians from four countries, including the Czech Republic, South Korea, Poland, and Israel, alongside Georgian artists. The ensemble "Haeri," composed of Czech musicians, stands out with its performances of Georgian songs alongside Czech folklore.
The festival will take place on July 19, 20, 21 and 26, 27, 28 at the old stage of the Tbilisi Ethnographic Museum, in the amphitheater.
The Tbilisi tour will open on July 19 with a performance by the band "Demonstrations." The first day will conclude with a concert by Art-gen debutante Temuriko Diasamidze and Friends. On July 20, GAGA FRANI will take the stage. On July 21, Nino Katamadze and "Insight" will perform for the festival audience. The festival will continue on July 26 with a REGGAEON concert.
On July 27, "Sukhishvili" will hold a concert. The Art-gen 2024 Tbilisi tour will close on July 28 with a concert by "33a."
Throughout the festival, exhibitions of Georgian handicrafts, folklore concerts from different regions, and corners featuring Georgian cuisine will be organized before the final concerts. Notably, this year, the festival began its regional tour in the Zestafon district, featuring concerts by "Demonstrations," GAGA FRANI, and REGGAEON alongside local folklore performances.
The regional tour will conclude on August 3 with a concert by REGGAEON and SHEREKILEBI at Pantian Lake in the Dmanisi region.
