Armenia to Host Sevan Startup Summit

Between 28 July and 3 August, Armenia will host the Sevan Startup Summit.

Entrepreneurs from Armenia, the rest of the Eastern Neighbourhood and the world are invited to submit their start-up ideas in order to participate in the event.

The camp is expected to welcome around 1,000 entrepreneurs from all over the world and will be open for one week. Participants will be able to meet with top speakers, international mentors and investors, and compete for various grants and investments based on the stage of development and field of their startups.

The application deadline is 15 June 2019. Applications must be made by following this link.

The event is being organised within the “Support to SME Development in Armenia” (EU-SMEDA) project.

Since 2017, the EU-funded “Support to SME Development in Armenia” (EU-SMEDA) project has been supporting Armenian start-ups with two types of grant – Innovation Matching Grants and Science and Technology Entrepreneurship grants.
