USD 2 Million Worth of Apple Exported from Georgia
From August 1 to October 15, a total of 4 709 tons of apples worth $ 2 million were exported from Georgia- the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture reports.
Apple exports 11-fold exceeds exports in the same period of 2019, the value of exports increased by $ 1.8 million.
Apples were exported to the Russian Federation (4 550 tons) as well as to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
