Top Five Georgian Insurance Companies due to Paid Claims

In January-September 2020, eighteen (18) insurance companies paid claims of GEL 433.2 million.
 
The top five insurance companies due to paid claims are as follows:
 
JSC Insurance Company ALDAGI – GEL 47.29 million
JSC Insurance Company GPI Holding – GEL 47.12 million
JSC Imedi L – GEL 34.08 million
JSC TBC Insurance – GEL 24.63 million
JSC ARDI – GEL 24.54
 
As of September 30, 2020, the Georgian insurance sector registers 18 insurance companies, 17 of which hold life and nonlife insurance licenses, while one company holds a nonlife insurance license.
 
In the January-September period, the companies have generated an insurance premium of GEL 513.4 million. Insurance profits marked GEL 129.7 million, while net profits constituted GEL 44.3 million.
Total assets of all insurance companies amount to GEL 976.9 million, while capital totals GEL 282.7 million.
