Telavi Airport Mimino Preparing for International Flights

Telavi Airport may soon be able to get charter flights.

Irakli Kadagishvili, State Representative in the Kakheti Region, said in a "business morning", a specific project with the Ministry of Economy and all relevant agencies has already been completed.

According to Kadagishvili, the budget is defined, which is 9 million in the case of domestic flights, and 15 million GEL for international development.

"We have developed a specific project together with the Ministry of Economy and I think that the launch of Telavi Airport is one of the major stimulus for tourism development."
