Silk Road Forum Aims to Amplify Involvement in the "Middle Corridor" Initiative

The Silk Road Forum, convening in Georgia for its fourth iteration, seeks to bolster connectivity, with Georgia envisioned as a pivotal hub.

"Georgia's role as a linchpin in this drive towards enhanced connectivity is crucial. This gathering will inevitably catalyze increased engagement from nations in the 'Middle Corridor' initiative," Genadi Arveladze commented.

Scheduled for October 26-27 in Tbilisi, the forum anticipates the presence of over 2,000 delegates hailing from 60 global nations.

Arveladze further highlighted the dual benefit of the forum: elevating Georgia's global profile and spotlighting its strategic positioning as a central connector.

The grandeur of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum will unfurl on October 26 at the esteemed Zakaria Paliashvili State Theater of Opera and Ballet. An impressive roster, including top-tier officials, international financial institutions, and global businesses, is slated for this expansive two-day conclave. Attendees can anticipate thematic discussions spanning trade, transport, energy, tourism, digital and financial technologies, as well as segments dedicated to exploring Georgia's investment potential and facilitating bilateral business dialogues.

This year's forum marks the fourth occasion Georgia has had the privilege of hosting this prestigious event.
