Serkan Kaptan Appointed Chief Executive Officer of TAV Airports

TAV Airports, a subsidiary of Groupe ADP, has appointed Serkan Kaptan as its new Chief Executive, effective May 1.

Sani Sener, who has held the position since the company's foundation in 1997, has been replaced. He is stepping down as Chairman, but will continue to serve as Deputy Chairman.

Since joining the company in 1998, Kaptan has been active in business growth, strategy, and marketing.

Burcu Geriş has been designated Deputy CEO and will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer. Franck Mereyde, who has served as Deputy CEO since 2017, has been named Chairman of ComEx and a member of the Executive Board.

“Today we are happy to announce the changes in our management team, part of our meticulously planned succession, which will shape the future of our company. Our Deputy CEO since 2016, Serkan Kaptan, who took over important responsibilities at the company from the beginning, will be appointed as CEO. I’ll continue supporting the strategic orientation of the company in my capacity as the Deputy Chairman of the Board,” said Sani Sener.
