As of September 30, the amount of pension contributions exceeded GEL 387 million.
According to the Pension Agency’s data, 896 526 unique contributors are involved in the pension system for the time being. Of these 686 374 are employed in the private sector, 210 152 in the public sector. The number of private companies reaches 58 029.
161 353 citizens got out of the retirement savings program, including 119 269 from the private sector and 42 084 from the public sector.
The investment of pension funds has not started yet. The funds are deposited in bank accounts, from which the accrued interest amounts to GEL 8 million.
