Pension Agency Director to Quit Position in January
Pensions Agency director Levan Surguladze plans to quit the position on January 16. The information was confirmed by Levan Surguladze at the December 9 news conference.
“A week ago I applied to the supervisory board for letting me quit the position on January 16. The Supervisory Board plans to analyze my request and take a due decision”, Surguladze said.
If the Board suggests me to continue office for a certain period, I will take into consideration this opinion, Levan Surguladze noted.
At the same time, Surguladze has not named reasons behind his decision. He just noted that he has different plans, which will be divulged later.
As reported, Levan Surguladze was appointed as the Pension Agency director in September 2018 for a period of 5 years.
