Nouriel Roubini: Silk Road Initiative and Ongoing Reforms will Bring Economic Success for Georgia
Georgia needs policy promoting startup business companies and small and medium enterprises and this is a key component of economic growth, Nouriel Roubini, professor of economics for Stern Business School of New York noted at Silk Road Forum in Tbilisi, at the introductory panel – Together for Joint Future: Stable and Sustainable Growth Models.
The mentioned panel is moderated by Nouriel Roubini. He has made emphasis on current tendencies worldwide and economic growth tendencies and talked about importance of globalization of economic development, innovations and inclusive economy.
“We should realize that without making international growth inclusive and more sustainable, the current regress will deepen. We need more integration, more globalization, more economic and trade relations that will enable the young generation to survive and gain the instrument of success for global digital economy”, Nouriel Roubini said.
According to Ministry of Economy of Georgia, Nouriel Roubini has positively appraised the Silk Road initiative and economic reforms in the regions.
