Natia Turnava and Elizabeth Rood Discussed Georgia-USA Economic Relations

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Natia Turnava and the USA Charge d’Affairs in Georgia, Elizabeth Rood held a working meeting on the issues of economic relations between the United States and Georgia.

The US is Georgia’s most important strategic partner and cooperation with the USA will be further developed. Along with many important directions, this involves deepening cooperation in the priority sectors such as bilateral trade, as well as encouraging and protecting American investments in Georgia, which will significantly increase American capital participation in Georgian enterprises. The meeting also focused on the enhancement of the links in the sectors of tourism and transport as well as other priority directions.

Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Genadi Arveladze also attended the meeting with the USA Charge d’Affairs in Georgia.
