Money Transfers to Georgia Rise by 17.8% Year on Year
Money transfers to Georgia in June 2020 amounted to 169.2 million USD (514.8 million GEL), up 17.8% compared to June 2019 (up 25.6 million USD).
The ratio of countries, from where money transfers exceeded 1 million USD, in total money transfers to Georgia accounts for 94.5%, while the figure was 93.2% in June 2019.
As for money transfers from Georgia abroad, the figure constituted 21.9 million USD (66.6 million GEL), up 25.4% compared to June 2019 (17.5 million USD).
