Minister of Economy Appoints Zaza Dvalishvili as ESCO Director General
Minister of Economy Natgia Turnava has appointed Zaza Dvalishvili as an acting director general of ESCO (Electricity Market Operator).
Natia Turnava expressed gratitude to Vakhtang Ambokadze, the former director general of ESCO for his multiyear job for Georgia’s energy sector and electricity market and wished him all the best in the private sector.
“ESCO has acquired an experienced and competent manager in the person of Zaza Dvalishvili. In the interesting process of the electricity market reformation and regulation, we expect successful operation and cooperation with ESCO.
We expect progress, new ideas. Experience and professionalism make an excellent combination”, the Minister of Economy noted.
Zaza Dvalishvili has worked as ESCO deputy director general since 2007.
