Logistics Park Development Plan Approved in Tserovani

A logistics park will be built in the territory of Tserovani village in Mtskheta municipality. The detailed development plan was approved by the Spatial and Urban Development Agency. The project is implemented by the "Tushi Collection" company.

It is mentioned in the approved plan that the existence of large enterprises and developed agriculture in the area surrounding the plot creates a need to develop a complex of warehouse functions equipped with high standards, which will be rented later for storing various products. All the products that do not take into account the special temperature regime and the special conditions for perishable products will be stored.

"The project is a logistics park of international standards, consisting of a category B (buildings with a low-risk factor) logistics building (meeting modern safety rules), office space, developed infrastructure, and parking lots. Construction of 6 warehouses, service offices, and a motel-type hotel is planned in the project area.

The hotel and offices will be located near the highway, and warehouses will be developed behind them," the document reads. According to the project, there will be no refrigeration infrastructure in the area.

The project area is located in the village of Tserovani, adjacent to the village of Chardakhi, 28 kilometers away from the capital. The area of the territory is 232635 sq.m.

The development area is 65,000 sq.m., and the maximum height of the development is 15 meters. There is an organized parking system in the area, both for cars and trucks. In December last year, the Ministry of Economy announced that the total investment cost of the project is more than 45 million GEL, and 250-300 people will be employed as a direct result, of which 60% are local residents. With the effect of indirect employment, the project will employ 500 people.

According to the data from the public register, the company "Tushi Collection" was founded in 2017. The founders are Davit and Ekaterine Tushishvili.

Tushishvili are the owners of Tushiconcept Holding. They invest in various fields and operate in the fields of hospitality, logistics, education and management. One of their most famous projects is the co-working space "Terminal".
