In September, Exports Rose by 1% and Imports by 10%
Geostat has released a preliminary foreign trade report for September. The report indicates that Georgia exported goods worth $528 million to international markets last month, marking a rise of $4 million or 0.8% compared to the same month in the previous year.
For the cumulative first nine months of the year, Georgia's exports reached $4.6 billion, reflecting a 12.7% increase over the same period from the previous year.
On the import front, the figure stood at $1.25 billion for September, which is 10% (or $114 million) higher than last year's figure for the same month.
