How Many Hydro Power Plans Launched Operation in 2018-2019

Eleven HPPs launched operation in 2018-2019, BM.GE was told at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development.

Total installed generation of these 11 HPPs is 98.3 megawatts and investmet value is 210.7 million USD.

The following HPPs were launched in 2018-2019:

Kasleti HPP2, Bodorna HPP, KHeori HPP, Jonouli HPP, Kirnati HPP, Skurdidi HPP, Aragvi 2 HPP, Oro HPP, Mestiachal HPP 2, Mestiachal HPP 1 and Avan HPP.

We remind you that in 2018 FDI inflows to power sector declined by 57%, while the contraction in 2019 made up 37%.
