Highest Paying Jobs in Georgia for 2020
In the first quarter of 2020, wage growth was observed in almost all sectors compared to the same period last year, according to statistics from the average monthly nominal wage for employees, published by Geostat.
Relatively high salaries were observed in the following fields:
• Financial and insurance sector - GEL 2,596.4 (annual growth of 37.1%);
• Information and communication - GEL 1,887.9 (annual growth of 7.8%);
• Professional, scientific and technical activities - 1 794.8 GEL (annual growth -0.2%);
• Construction - GEL 1,703.0 (annual growth of 9.5%);
As for the average salary of employees in the business sector during the same period, it increased by 75.2 GEL and amounted to 1,227 GEL.
