Georgia’s Peach and Nectarine Exports Hit $26.1 Million

Starting May 1, 2021, Georgia has exported 28,700 tons of peach and nectarine worth $26.1million, the Georgian Agriculture Ministry’s press release reads.

As compared to the same period of 2020, peach and nectarine exports volume has increased by 5,700 tons (up 25% year on year), while the exports value has grown by $6.9 million (up 36% year on year).

Exports were carried out to the following markets: Russia (18,942 tons) Armenia (8,156 tons), Ukraine (768 tons), Azerbaijan (269 tons), Kazakhstan (134 tons), Belarus (119 tons), Moldova (116 tons), Poland (98 tons) and Slovenia (59 tons).
