Georgia’s Exports with China Grows by 209.1%; Exported Items

Georgia’s foreign trade turnover in January-August 2020 amounted to $7.022 billion, down 16.7% year on year.

In the reporting period, Georgia’s exports to China increased by 209.1%, while imports declined by 23.2%. Products that Georgia buys in and from China are as follows:

Exports:

1. Copper ores and concentrates - $244.455 million;

2. precious metals ores and concentrates - $24.106 million

3. wines of natural grapes - $8.630 million

4. Medical equipment and devices - $5.529 million

5. Unprocessed aluminum - $2.656 million.

Imports

1. flat-rolled metal of steel with 600mm and more width - $15.450 million

2. Calculators and their blocks - $15.120 million;

3. Air-conditioning devices - $8.682 million

4. other finished products - $7.895 million.
