Georgian Post to be Entrusted to Create Service for Pensioners and Socially Vulnerable Group

Ministry of Economy and Georgian post, together with the Ministry of Healthcare are entrusted to build the service offering mechanism for pensioners and socially vulnerable groups. 

As Giorgi Gakharia mentioned, it is impossible for the government to take steps forward as the only institution to the aroused global challenge.

"Civil responsibility and self-awareness of every citizen are utterly important. We need to understand, that we should care for our elders, especially the ones who are more than 70 years old. This is critically important and our own duty. Today, we entrusted Georgian post and Ministry of Economy to create the service offering mechanism for pensioners and socially vulnerable groups, which they need daily. We are moving from stopping the virus from spreading to its spreading phase. We, government, appropriate Ministries, and citizens should be ready. We need to work together, so as to handle global situation effectively. There is no room for panic. We continue to work and respond to this challenge - dissemination with our means.", stated Giorgi Gakharia.
