Georgian and Turkmen Foreign Ministers Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

The parties engaged in discussion about ways to improve bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as other matters related to the two nations' relations.

The diplomats emphasized the significance of Irakli Garibashvili's recent trip to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, and the discussions he had with Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country's president, on July 20, 2022.

As he handed the Minister of Foreign Affairs copies of his credentials, Ambassador Konstantin Sabiashvili emphasized that he would use his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan to further deepen and develop connections between the two nations.
