New Airlines Set to Enter Georgian Market in 2025
The Georgian aviation market is set to expand further in 2025 with the arrival of several new airlines. British Airways will begin operations in March, alongside British low-cost carrier easyJet, which will offer direct regular flights to London, Geneva, and Milan. In April, Transavia France will launch flights on the Paris-Tbilisi-Paris route, and Edelweiss will commence Zurich-Tbilisi-Zurich flights twice weekly starting April 12.
The surge in passenger numbers and the entry of new airlines underscore the growing importance of Georgian airports as key transit and travel hubs in the region.
