Georgia Showcases National Pavilion at Foodex Japan 2026 in Tokyo

With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and organized by the Rural Development Agency of Georgia, six Georgian companies are participating in the international exhibition Foodex Japan 2026 held in Tokyo.

The Georgian pavilion was visited by Yuhei Yamashita, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan. He was hosted by Zurab Gozalishvili, Director of the Rural Development Agency, and Teimuraz Lezhava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Japan.

“This year, the Rural Development Agency is presenting the Georgian pavilion at its third international exhibition. Participation of Georgian companies in such exhibitions is an important tool for increasing exports and entering new markets.

We continue to work on developing funding mechanisms that support the growth of high-quality Georgian agri-products and enhance their competitiveness,” said Zurab Gozalishvili.

The Georgian pavilion featured products from the companies “Maisi 2020,” “Hobby,” “Geonaturali,” “Agroline,” “Achinebuli,” and “Water Margable,” including walnuts, honey, water, and fruit juices.

Foodex Japan is one of the largest international exhibitions in Asia. This year, around 3,000 companies from more than 70 countries are participating in the event.
