Georgia Doubles Automobiles Re-Exports to Azerbaijan to $79 million
In January-March 2020, Georgia grew automobile re-exports to Azerbaijan by 131% to $79.2million, according to Geostat, the national statistics service of Georgia.
On the whole, the country increased the automobile re-exports by 26% to $127.9 million.
The record re-exports after 2014 was registered in 2019 - $686.7 million. At this stage, it is unclear how the COVID-19 pandemic may affect Georgia’s automobile re-exports to Azerbaijan, Armenia and Central Asia countries.
