Georgia and South Korea Sign Air Traffic Agreement

Georgia and South Korea have signed an air traffic agreement, under which Georgian airlines will fulfill flights to South Korea’s major international airports and Korean Airlines will transport passengers to Georgia’s international airports.

The agreement has established a legislative basis between Georgia and South Korea and this factor grows the attractiveness of regular flights between two countries, expands the space of flights, deepens trade and economic relations between the countries, and develops the tourism industry. It is noteworthy that in 2018-2019 several charter flights were fulfilled between Georgia and South Korea by Korean Air airline.
