GEL 130 Million is Stopcov Fund in the Budget of Third Stage Anti-Crisis Plan

The government has presented the third phase of the anti-crisis plan.

As the Minister of Economy explained, the third budget package of the third, new phase of the anti-crisis plan is more than 400 million GEL, of which 130 million GEL is accumulated in the Stopcov Fund.

"400 million GEL, which is spent from the budget to finance this program, 130 million GEL is the funds accumulated in the Stopcov Fund and, first of all, in the form of Bidzina Ivanishvili's personal donation - 100 million GEL, as well as contributions made by various Georgian businesses. These funds will be spent in several areas, including 200 GEL assistance to children under 17," - said the Minister of Economy.

Under the third phase of the anti-crisis plan, the government will provide GEL 200 assistance to children under the age of 17, fund the education of vulnerable students, and continue to subsidize utility bills during the winter.

During the winter, taxes will be subsidized for 4 months for households that consume less than 200 cubic meters of gas and 200 kilowatts of electricity.
