Foreign Investors Show Interest in Mirza-Shafi Project
Active negotiations are underway on sales o Mirza-Shafi project and the final agreement between the investor and the seller was postponed for late May amid the coronavirus pandemic, Giorgi Svanidze, founder of CAPITAL PARTNERS OF GEORGIA noted.
“Recently we met with foreign investors on this issue. Before the agreement conclusion, we will not divulge information, but they are serious partners and serious companies are interested in this project. At this stage, the project re-issuance process was postponed for late May”, Giorgi Svanidze noted.
As reported, the MIrza-Shaf project implementation was announced several years ago. In March 2019, Giorgi Svandize told the Commersant that the project would start in several months. Tbilisi City Hall has already issued a construction license. Part of experts criticized the project as incompliant with the Abanotubani architecture.
An agreement has been signed with the world brand Kempinski on hotel construction.
The project’s investment value is 60 million USD and it calls for employing 1200 persons.
