Farmers Can Now Purchase Harvesting Machinery with Increased State Co-Funding

Farmers in Georgia will now be able to purchase harvesting agricultural machinery with enhanced state co-funding support.

According to recent changes to the program, the total maximum co-funding amount provided by the Rural Development Agency for harvesting machinery has increased from GEL 150,000 to GEL 250,000.

Per beneficiary, the co-funding for harvesting equipment will cover up to 30% of the cost, not exceeding GEL 250,000. For manual tea-picking devices, the co-funding will cover up to 50%, capped at GEL 1,000.

According to program conditions, the equipment must be brand-new (not previously in use), manufactured no more than two calendar years before the purchase, and must include a minimum six-month warranty from the date of application.

Applications will open on July 15 at 12:00 PM. The program’s budget amounts to GEL 10 million.
