The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Davit Songulashvili, met with the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Georgia, Theodorico Nanni.
During the meeting, the parties discussed future prospects for cooperation between Georgia and the Sovereign Order of Malta.
The discussion also covered preparatory matters related to the Minister’s planned visit with his Italian counterpart, as well as potential areas of cooperation.
According to Davit Songulashvili, the implementation of joint initiatives will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector in the country, the introduction of modern practices, and the sharing of international experience.
The meeting at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture was attended by Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Holy See and the Sovereign Order of Malta, Davit Mekvabishvili, Head of the Ministry’s Department of International Relations and European Integration Davit Chitaishvili, and other representatives of the Sovereign Order of Malta.
