Davit Songulashvili Highlights Export Potential of Georgian Products at CASPIAN AGRO 2025 in Baku

The Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, Davit Songulashvili, visited the international agricultural exhibition CASPIAN AGRO 2025 in Baku as part of his official visit to Azerbaijan. At the Georgian national pavilion, the Minister met with local producers and familiarized himself with the products they presented.

During his meeting with Georgian entrepreneurs participating in the exhibition, Davit Songulashvili emphasized the importance of product quality and the growing export potential of Georgian agriculture.

“Participation in exhibitions of such scale is vital for the international promotion of Georgian agricultural products. It allows us to showcase the country’s potential to a global audience and expand export opportunities. With the financial and organizational support of the state, Georgian entrepreneurs are able to represent the country with dignity and use a platform like the CASPIAN AGRO exhibition to establish significant trade and economic partnerships,” noted Davit Songulashvili.

At CASPIAN AGRO 2025, Georgian companies—beneficiaries of various state programs—presented a wide range of products, including wine, canned goods, natural juices, confectionery, dried fruits, and organic juices.

The CASPIAN AGRO exhibition hosts participants from an average of 25 countries annually and attracts over 15,000 visitors. This year’s exhibition opened on May 13 and will run through May 16.

In addition to Minister Songulashvili, the Georgian delegation included Deputy Minister Lasha Dolidze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Azerbaijan Zurab Pataradze, and Giorgi Darchia, Director of the Rural Development Agency.
