Bezhan Tsakadze: Georgia must Turn the Defeat of COVID-19 into a Brand
The founder of the construction company GDG + believes that the state has effectively fought against Cornavirus, and these results should make it a brand for the new tourist season.
Bezhan Tsakadze calls on the relevant agencies to invest more money in popularizing the country through the Businesspartner. Here Tsakadze talks about his predictions.
"We will not be able to achieve the volumes we had last year. Given the current situation, even if we work with a 50% load, it will be enough for us not to go to the loss and for the companies to score.
I don't think hotels will be full as soon as the borders are opened, but slowly everything will be fine. People want to relax. If we go above 50% in total, I think we will be back to normal next spring. It should be noted that the state has really fought effectively against COVID-19 and this should be used as a brand. The country needs advertising and it will be a serious advantage. That is why I have optimistic forecasts, ”Tsakadze said.
According to him, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the company had suspended all ongoing projects.
"We have suspended all work related to the project, but we resumed it a week ago. Due to the current situation, the hotel "Brose Garden", the construction of which we completed in December, is still closed. It is expected to open on July 1. We have lost about 200,000 GEL from these events, ”said the founder of GDG +.
