Batumi’s New Multimodal Terminal Starts Cargo Services
Batumi’s new multimodal terminal has started serving cargoes. The first batch of carbamide of 47 wagons transported from Turkmenistan to Georgia has been already stored at Batumi multimodal terminal.
According to Wondernet Express, cargo unloading and storing was carried out in full compliance with international regulations. Batumi’s new terminal is owned by Wondernet Express and Trammo. The terminal was built to store 60,000 tons of mineral fertilizers and it shapes the shortest and efficient route for transporting cargo from Central Asia to the Black Sea and farther to Europe.
