Azerbaijan and Georgia Parties Discuss Transport and Energy Projects of Global Importance

Director General of the Georgian Railway Davit Peradze paid a visit in Azerbaijan on September 17-18 with the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava and her deputies.

Within the framework of the visit meetings were held with the Ministers of Economy and Transport of Azerbaijan and the Director General of the "Azerbaijan Railway", where the parties discussed the full economic development of the countries and the realization of transport and energy projects of global importance.

They emphasized the importance of enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of the transport corridor passing through Georgia and Azerbaijan, promoting the transit potential of the two countries internationally and continuing joint efforts in this regard.
