“Apples Worth USD 7.3 Million, Totaling 10.0 Thousand Tons, Exported from Georgia” – Ministry
From August 1, 2025 to January 13, 2026, Georgia exported 10.0 thousand tons of apples valued at USD 7.3 million, according to information released by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia.
According to the Ministry, compared to the same period of the previous year, the volume of exported apples increased by 28% (2.2 thousand tons), while the export value rose by 47% (USD 2.3 million).
During the reporting period, the average export price per kilogram of apples was USD 0.73, which is 15% higher than in the corresponding period last year.
The main export destination was Russia, accounting for 9,197 tons of exports. This was followed by Turkey (540 tons), Belarus (150 tons), Armenia (83 tons), and Iraq (21 tons).
