Agreement on Direct Flights Between Grozny and Tbilisi Reached
Direct flights between Grozny and Tbilisi are scheduled to start.
Airport management of the Chechen capital officially has already expressed the desire to start flights between the sides. General Director of Grozny Airport Sultan Gambulatov says direct flights between Grozny and Tbilisi will start from May.
“After the disintegration of the USSR we will open the flight to Tbilisi for the first time. We have negotiated with the Georgian side and we are waiting for the response from the carrier, “says Grozno Airport Director.
