Adjara Government to Extend Boulevard to Turkish Border in 2020
Adjara Government plans to extend the boulevard to the state border with Turkey, Adjara Government head Tornike Rizhvadze noted.
The project calls for extending the boulevard to the village of Sarpi and building the Gonio bridge. At this stage, feasibility studies are being prepared and after this phase construction works will start, Rizhvadze noted.
„Jointly with Asian Development Bank we are developing the concept for extending our boulevard to Sarpi and building Gonio bridge. We do not have much time. Therefore, feasibility studies should be completed in the shortest period and then we will launch construction works in 2020”, Adjara Government chairman Tornike Rizhvadze noted.
