Vaccination Board Allowed Booster Dose for Certain Populations

The vaccination board allowed a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for certain groups.

According to the Deputy Minister of Healthcare, Tamar Gabunia, a booster dose is recommended for 50 and older people and for those with chronic diseases. 6 months must be passed since the second vaccination. 

The booster dose is also allowed in high-risk professions, for example, medical personnel.
