The First International Recognition of Irma Sharikadze's Short Documentary

Irma Sharikadze's documentary “Ajarian Bride's Treasure” won the nomination of "Best Short Documentary" at the Film Festival of Paris.

The short documentary film was supported by TBC.

“Ajarian Bride’s Treasure” is a peculiar manifest giving voice to women living in mountainous Ajara, because this tradition of creating embroidery was passed down from generation to generation through the line of women. In 2020, the Embroidery of Ajara was awarded the status of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Monument.

The film will be premiered for the population of mountainous Adjara at the Khulo Theater at the end of April.
