Tbilisi Expected to Have New Banner and Emblem

Tbilisi will have new banner and emblem, David Chkheidze, head of the design and analytics service of the parliament’s board for heraldry noted.

The current banner and emblem of the capital city cannot satisfy the heraldic laws, Chkheidze explained.

„Emblems of 70 municipalities satisfy heraldic laws, but Tbilisi Emblem violates these laws. Consequently, the city hall and Tbilisi Council have been working on new emblem and banner”, Chkheidze said.
