Tbilisi Development Fund Carries out Rehabilitation Works in Queen Darejan's Palace
Within the frameworks of the project "New Tiflis", Tbilisi Development Fund starts to carry out rehabilitation works in the monastery complex of Queen Darejan's Palace.
"The complex has been granted the status of a cultural heritage monument. Queen Darejan's Palace is among the rare monuments, which according to the necessary data can be traced back to the 1770's."
The fence wall with its piers, which is a part of Queen Darejan's Palace, has reached the presence in a good shape.
The wall-towers of the fence have undergone multiple damage and restoration, including the devastating invasion of Agha Mohammad Khan in Tbilisi. "Because of this, the old parts of its structure are fragmentarily preserved.", is written in the information.
