Ruling Georgian Dream to Hold 2020 Parliamentary Elections with Proportional Election System
The ruling Georgian Dream party has decided to reform the election system and hold the 2020 parliamentary elections with the proportional system.
These plans were announced by Bidzina Ivanishvili, ex Prime Minister of Georgia.
Moving to proportional elections system was one of the key demands of the protest rally participants.
This morning members of the political board of Georgian Dream assembled at the party office and later an extended meeting was held for the parliamentary majority, where the attendants discussed the protest rally demands.
