Renovated Museum of Local Lore in Oni to Receive First Guests in a Few Months
The renovated Museum of Local Lore in Oni will open in 2-3 months. According to Oni Municipality Mayor Sergo Khidesheli, construction works started in 2020 and were completed this year.
The new two-story museum will include a conference hall, a storage room, a library, a media library, and a children's educational space.
"The building is of modern international standards and is fully adapted for people with disabilities."
The construction of the Oni Museum is funded by the Government of Georgia and the total amount of investment is 6 million GEL. The Museum of Local Lore was founded in Oni in 1948 and opened in 1952.
