Public Transport Resumes Operation in Georgia Today

From today, public transport traffic has resumed working. After a one-month pause, the subway, as well as buses and minibuses will resume full operation.

Wearing face masks will be strictly controlled in transport. Public transport has been suspended since August 14 due to a complicated epidemiological situation. It was supposed to be renewed from September 4, however, according to the decision of the Coordinating Council, the ban was extended until September 13.

Other restrictions remain in place at this stage. The Interagency Coordinating Council once again urges citizens to use face masks, maintain social distance and to be actively involved in the vaccination process.
