Private Kindergartens Asking State Permission to Start Studying Process in September
Private kindergartens are asking the state for permission to start the learning process in September, instead of the October 1 set by the government.
Speaking to BMG, Pavle Kaliashvili, chairman of the Georgian Association of Private Kindergartens, said that Beka Peradze, chairman of the Labor Inspection Department, had told them that they would receive an answer on the issue of opening private kindergartens next week.
"We already have the recommendations developed by the Ministry of Health. There is nothing unfulfilled there and we are ready to follow all the recommendations. We had a request to remove the quadrature issue and so it happened. Our problem, however, is the start date of the study.
As promised, we registered the children accordingly, the parents were waiting for the school to start on September 1st. We still don't get an answer from the state. Beka Peradze promised us that he would agree to our request with the government and they would tell us next week whether we would start a study year or not, ”said Pavle Kaliashvili.
In addition, as Kaliashvili says, private gardens have problems with tenants.
"We have not been able to pay the rents for 6 months already, now we have agreed to pay from September 1, therefore, if the gardens are not opened, this will also be a problem," Kaliashvili said.
Reminder: According to the decision of the Interagency Council of the Government of Georgia, studies in kindergartens will start on October 1.
