Nana Ekvtimishvili to Nominate for EBRD Literature Prize
The book "Pear Field" by Georgian director, screenwriter, and writer Nana Ekvtimishvili has been nominated for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Literature Prize.
"The Pear Field", which is the book by Georgian director, screenwriter, and writer Nana Ekvtimishvili, is nominated for the Literary Prize of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The contest aims to popularize the translations of literary works from 40 countries in which EBRD operates. The winner will receive a cash prize of 20,000 Euros.
The Pear Field is a debut novel, which has been published in 2015.
Nana Ekvtimishvili's film works include "In Bloom", and "My Happy Family".
